heard interesting key note from Daro Montag and presentatons from other phd candidates. Helpful too in terms of ‘remembering’ what not to leave out, e.g. my own motivation in terms of biodiversity etc., definitions such as Transition Towns, and not taking understanding for granted – e.g. explain the importance of the Guattari quote.
meeting with Sue Porter and Alison Parfitt to discuss Derby walk, in particular: ‘closing the gap’ – meeting with other colleagues to decide on how to ‘complete’ the project and in particular ‘honoring’ our commitments to Transition Towns folk. Also discussed two pieces of writing and in detail the outline chapter for a book from the @Affective Landscapes’ conference.
hanging show at Corsham Court – left elements flexible to be able to respond to other artist’s pieces – seemed important to me because, as we all had a museum box as the starting point, their was some sign of dialogue, which of course there had been over a number of meetings.
